Whether you’re a fun-loving novice or experienced grower, you are going to love this exciting pre-season celebration of the charm of dahlias amongst the wondrous dahlia community of growers, breeders, exhibitors & educators!
It’s been quite a while since such a co-ordinated event has been held in Sydney that’s also been supported by the Dahlia Society of NSW & ACT.
This inaugural event will be hosted by Brett Bramble of Natural Growth Institute (NGI), who insists on a party component into Saturday night - it’ll be a doozy!
Connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts - from fun-loving novices to established breeders and exhibitors keen to set you in the right direction with new tubers and cuttings.
New hobby growers are encouraged to bring their tubers & cuttings and swap for free - regardless of how nervous you might be :-)

Event Overview & Schedule
Location: 25 Garthowen Cres, Castle Hill, NSW. 10min walk from Castle Hill Metro.
Saturday 28th September
1) Buy, Swap & Sell: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
2) Dahlia Workshop: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM | 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
3) P-A-R-T-Y... Day & Night: 4:00 PM - LATE

1) Buy, Swap & Sell: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
2) Dahlia Workshop: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
It's FREE to attend the Buy, Swap & Sell as well as the Party, but you must register your interest for tickets. Dahlia Workshop prices are discussed further below.
Note: Numbers are limited to all parts of this event and there is every chance that ticket allocations will be exhausted. Ideally, book in advance, but if there are spots available, you can join on the day.

New Growers & Sellers encouraged!
ATTEND and/or SWAP FOR FREE! Newbies encouraged! Simply bring your tubers or cuttings and SWAP with new found dahlia friends. You’re bound to build wondrous new relationships that could take you anywhere.
BUY... exactly what you can see! Meet and browse. Listen in on various angles & suggestions. Ask questions. Inspect the tubers, cuttings and photos.
BE A SELLER! Share your passion for dahlias and display your tubers and cuttings. Ideally showcase your photos too.
Never sold your dahlias before & scared? Do it anyway! Even if you only have a handful, no problem :-)
10% of Sales Value goes back Dahlia Society of NSW/ACT and 10% helps the host cover costs.
Bring lots of change for your customers and ideally eftpos facilities if you have them. NGI may be able to assist with an Eftpos solution otherwise.
Regardless of your experience, this Buy, Swap & Sell will be a great way to connect with fellow enthusiasts, share your special angles and mix in your unique personality to help make this a flourishing success! You'll be in the right place! More details below...
